This policy explains how askhermis.com uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It complements our Privacy policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way but stays on your device and is not sent with each request. Both let a site remember something between visits. First-party cookies are set by us; third-party cookies are set by another company whose service we use.
2. What we use
Strictly necessary. Needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. They do not need consent and cannot be switched off in the banner.
Analytics. Google Analytics helps us understand how visitors use the website. It is loaded only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner.
Marketing. Apollo.io and LiveIntent help our sales team recognise the companies and people who visit the website. They start when you arrive, before you answer the cookie banner, and stop if you reject them or turn marketing off.

Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Analytics data is kept for no more than 14 months. Learn more in Google’s privacy policy.
On the AI visibility check page, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, is using the form. It processes your IP address and browser signals to do so and keeps a technical identifier in the local storage of its own frame, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Apollo.io is provided by ZenLeads, Inc. in the United States, which is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. It receives the address of each page you view, the page that referred you and any campaign tags, along with your IP address, and can use them to work out which company you work for. Where available, LiveIntent, Inc., also in the United States, matches your browser to a hashed version of your email address, and Apollo.io can use that to tell us who you are. LiveIntent may also set cookies on its own domain. Each applies its own policy: Apollo.io’s and LiveIntent’s. Apollo.io may also use this data for its own business contact database, which it sells to its customers, as a separate controller under its own policy.
3. Links to other services
When you book a demo, you move to Calendly; when you follow our social links, you move to LinkedIn. Those services set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not control them.
4. Changing your choice
- On our website: select “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to open the banner and change or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent stops analytics immediately and removes the Google Analytics cookies we set.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the banner will show on every visit.
- Google Analytics: you can also install Google’s opt-out add-on.
- Apollo.io and LiveIntent: rejecting or turning marketing off in the banner stops them and removes what they keep on this site. You can also opt out of LiveIntent at privacy.liveintent.com.
